Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Barista to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced workplace, has a passion for coffee and customer service, and is willing to help out across all areas of the café.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve a range of high-quality espresso-based drinks and other beverages
* Deliver excellent customer service with a friendly and professional attitude
* Take orders, operate the POS system, and handle payments accurately
* Assist with food preparation, plating, and service as needed
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all areas, including the coffee machine, counters, and dining area
* Replenish stock and supplies as required
* Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements
* Previous barista experience preferred (minimum 6 months ideal)
* Knowledge of coffee preparation and equipment
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure
* Versatile and willing to assist with a variety of tasks
* Availability to work weekends and public holidays as needed
* Food handling certificate or RSA (if applicable) is a plus
