Key Account Manager - Foodservice Sales Professional
The role involves building strong relationships with chefs, hospitality operators, and wholesale distributors to strengthen commercial presence in Northern NSW.
This is a hands-on sales position ideal for individuals with a cheffing background looking to transition into a commercial sales career. You will spend approximately 95% of your time in the field managing key accounts, ensuring product distribution, and developing strong relationships with foodservice clients.
Responsibilities:
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with chefs, distributors, and key foodservice customers.
* Develop sales opportunities leveraging your knowledge of the food industry.
* Drive product awareness and category growth in commercial kitchens.
* Manage and execute sales initiatives to ensure strong customer engagement.
* Collaborate closely with marketing and operations teams to deliver on customer needs.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights.
Requirements:
* Experience as a chef, in hospitality, or in foodservice sales.
* A genuine passion for food and strong understanding of commercial kitchens.
* Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work independently and thrive in a field sales environment.
* FMCg or wholesale distribution experience highly regarded.
