Key Responsibilities
The role involves contributing to the development of statutory approvals pathways, which includes desktop assessment, constraints identification, and field work. Additionally, the position entails drafting environmental impact assessments, referral documentation, environmental management plans, and responses to RFIs. Furthermore, the incumbent will engage, procure, and manage external technical consultants for ecological, heritage, hydrology, contamination, or other specialist fieldwork.
Job Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in safety, Environmental Science, urban and regional planning, law or related discipline
* Experience in environmental, heritage, and statutory planning approvals
* Demonstrated experience with assessment and approvals in a major infrastructure, mining, or regulatory environment
* Proven ability to influence key internal and external stakeholders
* Strong communication and written skills
