About the Role
* Provide exceptional administrative support to a team of medical professionals.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Scheduling patient appointments, ensuring timely management of bookings and waitlists.
* Billing and receipting patient accounts, maintaining accurate financial records and resolving any discrepancies.
* Managing messages – verbal, written, and electronic, responding to patient inquiries and escalating complex issues as needed.
* Processing Medicare claims and EFTPOS transactions, adhering to strict compliance guidelines and regulations.
* Scanning and managing patient documentation, ensuring secure storage and accessibility of sensitive information.
* Preparing correspondence for mail-out and digital distribution, maintaining a professional tone and format.
* Accurate data entry, ensuring seamless integration with practice software and systems.
* Maintaining cleanliness and order in reception areas, creating a welcoming and efficient environment for patients.
* Assisting the Practice Manager as required, contributing to the overall success and growth of the practice.
* Utilizing Genie medical software (experience preferred), leveraging technology to streamline administrative tasks and improve patient outcomes.
