Technical Support Specialist Role
The role entails providing technical support to internal users, maintaining IT systems and ensuring the smooth operation of computer networks and software applications.
1. Duties:
* Deliver first-line technical assistance to users for software, hardware, and network issues.
* Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems including computers, printers, and network connections.
* Assist in configuring and maintaining network devices and operating systems.
* Perform IP address auditing and manage user accounts.
* Document IT procedures, policies, and network configurations.
* Collaborate with staff on routine system updates.
* Ensure security of IT systems by monitoring access and enforcing policies.
* Maintain operational readiness of IT systems and perform minor upgrades as required.
2. Requirements:
* A minimum of four years' relevant work experience is required for this position.
* A work visa will be provided for this role.
* Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
