Senior Legal Specialist
This role presents a unique opportunity to lead and manage a team delivering vital legal services in family law, care and protection matters, and Apprehended Domestic Violence Orders.
As a seasoned legal professional, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, handling complex legal matters, and offering expert advice and representation to clients. Your expertise in family law and domestic violence matters will enable you to support victim-survivors through complex and sensitive cases.
* You will have experience managing teams, mentoring junior solicitors, and fostering professional growth while ensuring high-quality service delivery.
* You will work with socially and economically disadvantaged clients, many of whom have experienced family and domestic violence, ensuring services align with the organization's plan and the Family Law Division Business Plan.

The essential requirements for this role include:
* Being admitted or eligible for admission as a legal practitioner in NSW
* Having a current NSW (Unrestricted) Practising Certificate
* Being willing to undergo a Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check
* Having Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency, or a valid visa to work in Australia
* Having capacity to travel regularly to regional and remote areas
