Job Title: HR Agitator Driver
We are seeking a skilled full-time HR Concrete Agitator Truck Driver to join our team at the Heidelberg Materials Concrete Plant in Bathurst, NSW.
As an Agitator driver, you will be responsible for providing high levels of customer service to our clients receiving our products, becoming the face of our business. This role involves driving a concrete agitator truck and making multiple deliveries throughout the day, interacting with various people, and ensuring every delivery is made efficiently and safely.
Your New Role:
* This position will be based out of the Bathurst Concrete Plant, servicing the Bathurst and surrounding areas.
* Most days will start between 6am and 6:30am, with drivers working up to and over 10 hours per day, and around 50 – 55 hours per week. Saturday work is as required and is paid at overtime rates.
* We pay a base rate for the first 8 hours of your day, Monday to Friday. After these 8 hours, the next two hours will be at time and a half. If you do more than 10 hours in a day, you go to double time. Meal allowances are generally paid after 10 hours in one shift.
* Driving an Agi is similar to being a Customer Service Agent on wheels. You will deal with lots of different personalities every day, so you need to be comfortable interacting with people you haven't met before.
* We provide cutting-edge technology to keep you safe whilst driving, map your routes, and track your loads.
* All new starts undergo a minimum of 10-day driver training program before they are allowed to drive independently.

* You have a minimum of HR license (essential) with previous driving experience (preferred).
* You hold a Construction White Card or are willing to obtain one before starting.
* You enjoy meeting people and having conversations while onsite.
* You prefer variety in your working life, as no two days are ever the same when driving one of our Agi trucks.
* You take pride in the appearance of your truck, keeping it clean, washing it regularly, and presenting the best image of our company. You are a mobile billboard, and people notice a dirty truck.
* You can pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is also conducted on all Heidelberg sites).
* You may be required to meet specific weight requirements for some trucks due to safety reasons.
