About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Emergency Services Trainer/Assessor who can provide excellent training and assessment services to our students at our training facility in Balcatta and to clients at various locations across WA. As part of your ongoing career development and to keep currency, you may also be required to cover MESO or ESO roles on our FIFO client sites, to provide first response and manage all emergency incidents that occur on and off-site.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nationally accredited training and assessment services to our public students and clients
- Provide excellent communication, instruction and presentation skills
- Perform equipment and vehicle checks
- Provide skills maintenance training to ERT Members
- Other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications and Experience (MUST HAVE)
- Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue RII30719 or equivalent (or below individual competencies) with at least five years on-the-job experience
- Certificate IV in Healthcare equivalent or higher
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116
- RTO training and assessment experience
- Minimum of less than 1 year RTO training and assessment experience required
- National Police Clearance
- Current HR class licence (manual)
- Vertical Rescue
- Confined Space Rescue
- Operate pumps
- Drive vehicles under operational conditions
- HAZMAT
- Wildfire
- Alcohol and Other Drugs Collector
- HLT first aid suite
- Gas Test Atmospheres
- Work Safely at Heights
- Enter and Work in Confined Spaces
