Job Description
* Manage end-to-end software release cycles to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
* Build and implement release management processes, tools, and best practices.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, testing, and operations to coordinate releases.
* Monitor and mitigate risks associated with IT releases.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and organisational guidelines.
* Provide detailed reports and insights on release performance and post-implementation reviews.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the release management framework.
* Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders regarding release schedules and updates.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful IT Release Manager Should Have
* Proven experience in managing IT release processes within a structured environment.
* Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
* Creative thinker who can build and implement processes
* Exceptional organisational and communication skills - ability to manage and present to Senior Stakeholders
* Technical proficiency in release management tools and platforms.
* An ability to analyse complex issues and implement effective solutions.
* Relevant qualifications in IT, computer science, or a related field.
