About the role
You will be responsible for supporting the smooth operation of High Voltage electrical operations of Defence facilities. This includes planned, reactive, and preventative maintenance across HV Electrical assets.
The ideal candidate will bring technical skills, including experience in HV/LV electrical systems, power distribution systems, circuit breakers, and control panels, as well as comprehensive knowledge of electrical safety procedures and standards.

About you
Hold a Trade Certificate – Certificate in III Electrotechnology. Hold a Victorian (A Grade) Electrical licence. Hold a current High Voltage Operation - H.V. Switching certificate. Hold a current Australian Drivers licence. Ability to fault find on high voltage electrical assets and provide timely reactive maintenance.
Previous experience in completing work orders and verifying tasks in accordance with requirements. Respectful and inclusive approach to working with diverse communities. You take pride in delivering high-quality work safely and reliably.

Security clearance
Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police check.
