We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Fire Safety Technician to join our team. The successful candidate must have extensive knowledge of the Australian Standards and be capable of inspecting, testing and maintaining various fire safety equipment and systems in accordance with AS
As our ideal candidate, you should possess excellent customer service and time management skills, great communication skills, a positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to develop your skills. You should also be a team player and have the ability to work autonomously as well as within a small team.
Key Responsibilities:
Service and maintain a variety of fire safety equipment including but not limited to detectors, emergency/exit lighting, fire doors, hose reels, hydrants, and fire extinguishers
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients, onsite team and office team
Manage your time effectively to complete tasks efficiently
Be willing to develop new skills
Requirements:
Previous Experience in a Similar Role
Extensive knowledge of the Australian Standards
Full/unrestricted Driver's Licence
Excellent customer service and time management skills
Great communication skills to clients, onsite team and office team
A positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to develop skills
Team player
Police Check and Working with Children's Certificate
Preferred, but not required:
Hold an FPAS Inspect & Test Accreditation with the FPAA
An Electrician with previous fire industry experience and qualifications
