About the Role
Drive the success of critical infrastructure projects at CSR. We\'re modernising technology and redefining how infrastructure supports our operational technology (OT) landscape across ANZ. You\'ll be a hands-on Infrastructure Delivery Engineer taking ownership of building, delivering, and migrating virtual infrastructure across multiple sites. As part of the Infrastructure & Cloud Delivery Team, you\'ll lead the technical implementation of OT-focused projects—covering servers, storage, virtualisation, backup, patching, monitoring, and more—while aligning with CSR\'s IT delivery standards. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract based at our North Ryde office, with flexible hybrid work arrangements and an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and deploy physical and virtual servers along with IT infrastructure components across CSR\'s environment (vSAN, Windows Server, AD).
* Lead infrastructure project delivery—from design to implementation (including testing, site coordination and signoffs).
* Conduct design, implementation, testing, site coordination, and signoffs for infrastructure projects.
* Provision systems for patching, monitoring, and backup.
* Decommission outdated services.
* Oversee the foundational build of servers and ensure smooth handover to BAU support.
* Coordinate with OT SMEs on-site to determine the best implementation approach.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
About You
* Degree in IT, Technology, Business, or a related field.
* Extensive experience in infrastructure delivery with a strong background in systems engineering, particularly in VMware environments.
* Proven track record in server builds, infrastructure migrations, and project execution.
* Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware (mandatory), Hyper-V, and shared storage.
* Solid networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, switching, routing, firewall security).
* Strong PowerShell scripting skills.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
* Strong communication skills, able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Project experience in medium to large organisations within diverse industries.
