You support ongoing enhancements, data integrity, and the delivery of new features that improve service quality and operational efficiency.
Your new role
* Develop and customise Salesforce using declarative and programmatic tools.
* Build and optimise custom objects, fields, flows, and Lightning pages.
* Deliver system enhancements and support ongoing platform improvements.
* Maintain integrations using APIs and middleware.
* Support data migrations and resolve data issues.
* Engage with technical and non‑technical stakeholders to shape requirements.
* Support UAT, version control, and release management.
* Apply security, accessibility, and government standards.
* Provide technical guidance and contribute to continuous improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
* Strong Salesforce development experience across core and cloud modules.
* Experience with declarative tools including Flows and validation rules.
* Solid understanding of Salesforce security model and data architecture.
* Experience with AppExchange solutions.
* Git and Salesforce DX knowledge.
* API development and integration patterns.
Desirable
* Veevart.
* Tableau.
* Agile delivery experience.
* CI/CD for Salesforce.
* Knowledge of Australian Government accessibility and UX standards.
* Salesforce Developer certification.
What you'll get in return
You secure a 6‑month contract with a further 6‑month extension option, giving you stability and ongoing project exposure. You work in Canberra within a structured federal government program focused on improving digital services through a mature Salesforce environment.
