We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Trade Counter Specialist to join our team in Bury St Edmunds.
As a Trade Counter Specialist, you will deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales activity, improve customer loyalty, and contribute to the company's profitability.
About the Role
* Main Responsibilities:
* Providing high levels of customer service and building strong relationships with customers
* Supporting with opening accounts, providing quotations, and managing customer accounts
* Driving sales through customer calls, leaflet distribution, and other sales activities
* Managing cash in line with company policies and procedures
* Following merchandising principles, including pricing and product displays
* Assisting with stock control, including processing deliveries and click-and-collect
* Supporting branch operations, including stock preparation and restocking of customer sites
* Complying with Health & Safety and Security guidelines at all times
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Experience of working face-to-face with customers, preferably in a retail environment
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
* Ability to learn new software and adapt to changing requirements
* Valid driving licence essential
