Job Overview: The Retail Sales Specialist is responsible for retail sales development, promotional and merchandising activities related to Duty-Free distribution channels and organization.
The job holder plans activities and promotions together with the Retail Manager, sets targets, implements activities, controls results and budgets, and issues monthly retail sales reporting.
Main Responsibilities:
* Regularly update monthly sales reports;
* Collaborate closely with retailers to ensure timely on-counter dates for newness;
* Monitor retail performance of newness and core lines;
* Plan and implement suitable incentives to drive sellouts;
* Identify potential risks or opportunities from itemized sales reports and make recommendations.
Merchandizing Excellence: Ensure timely updates of merchandizing grids/visuals; maintain perfect retail merchandizing excellence; prepare planogram proposals; conduct regular TRIP checks for key markets; nurture strong business partnerships with shopfloor teams.
Promotion Execution: Execute all planned promotions; analyze and exploit data on point-of-sale activity levels and feedback on merchandizing and promotional activities; provide weekly and monthly updates on key information, promotion results, budgets, and costs.
Administrative Support: Support Retail Managers in preparing MBU and Business Review documents; provide feedback to help compile reports.
Inventory Control/Fulfillment: Monitor sellable stock levels; maintain adequate inventory levels in retailer's doors; keep track of retailers' placement of newness orders and short shipments.
Business Analyst Management: Lead and motivate BA Teams; develop their product knowledge and selling techniques; monitor BA monthly sales performance and examine ways to improve productivity.
Training and Development: Plan and execute training calendars; conduct shopfloor/classroom trainings on a regular basis.
