Capel Crane Hire Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Crane Operators/Riggers/MC Truck Drivers to join their team at our new Kwinana Depot, Perth.
As a Crane Operators/Riggers/MC Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various crane and transport equipment to support the company's construction projects.
These are full-time positions based in Kwinana, offering the opportunity to work with a respected industry leader.
What you'll be doing
Operating and rigging of a range of crane equipment, including franna and slew cranes, to lift, move and position materials and equipment on construction sites and residential sites
Transportation of materials, equipment and counterweights where required
Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on crane and rigging equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to protect yourself, your team and the public
Communicate effectively with site managers, riggers and other construction workers to coordinate crane operations
Maintain detailed records of crane usage, maintenance and any incidents
Continuously develop your skills and knowledge
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Crane Operator in the construction industry
Valid crane operator's license and certification for the relevant crane types
Valid Riggers certification
MC/HC Truck Drivers Licence
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with other construction workers
Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
Flexibility to work overtime and on weekends as required to meet project deadlines
