About therole: TheStudent Pathways and Careers Division supports secondary schools indelivering a consistent approach to engage, retain and transitionyoung people into employment, vocational education, and highereducation pathways.
TheSenior Project Officer reports to the Manager Strategic Projectsand is responsible for planning, delivering, and contributing tothe development and implementation of strategic projects, programsand initiatives that underpin the outcomes of the Student Pathwaysand Careers division. This role provides leadership andcoordination in project management to ensure all activities aredelivered on time, within budget, and according toscope.
TheSenior Project Officer also supports the implementation andmonitoring of various projects funded through the FederationFunding Agreement (Education and Skills) and State commitments todefence industry workforce skilling.
Qualifications: Essential: Nil.
Desirable: Relevant post graduate qualifications.
Specialconditions: Thesuccessful applicant is required to gain a Department for HumanServices (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to beingemployed which is required to be renewed every five years beforeexpiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC(Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care)Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online(Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated everythree years.

Remuneration: ASO7$108,109 - 116,864 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) andleave loading.
