We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Junior Counsel. This role primarily supports the Senior Counsel for APAC while also providing assistance to legal teams in the UK and EU. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of post-admission experience in commercial law, preferably in the tech industry, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset. Key Responsibilities Primarily support Senior Counsel for APAC, with some assistance for UK and EU teams. Negotiate customer contracts. Advise on compliance with data security and privacy laws, including SOCI, Privacy Act, and APRA. Conduct legal research. Assist with corporate governance. Handle business requests on an as-needed basis. Requirements Admitted as a lawyer in Australia. Position is hybrid with option for fully remote. 1-3 years of post-admission experience in commercial law, preferably within tech industry. Willingness to work outside standard business hours to support the UK and EU teams. Ability to work independently and as part of a global team. Commercial acumen.
