Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Warehousing Specialist to oversee the efficient operation of our warehouse in Ipswich, Australia.
This role involves coordinating activities for various areas such as Inbound, Outbound, Kitting, and more based on direction from Operations management.
* Communicate effectively with the assigned team and all support teams.
* Ensure training completion aligns with business requirements.
* Pursue quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development improvements.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and equipment maintenance.
* Remain flexible and perform other duties as required to meet business goals.
* Collaborate with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to maintain and identify equipment in need of repair.
* Receive incoming goods, accurately sort, label/package, store goods, and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
* Operate manual and automated equipment to pick, pack, and ship product per customer expectations.
* Demonstrate high competency in core work skills.
* Meet cycle time or defined engineering standards.
* Intermediate-level work experience is essential.
* Logistics and Warehousing experience is preferred, including 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) provider management.
* Certification to operate forklifts and/or other warehouse machinery is required.
* A valid High Risk License (Forklift) is necessary.
