We have an exciting opportunity for a Patient Care Assistant to join our team at Kimberley Renal Services in Kununurra, Western Australia. As a valued member of our team, you will play a critical role in assisting patients with activities of daily living while attending the Renal Health Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dialysis patients according to their needs before, during, and after their dialysis sessions
- Transport clients and other goods in a safe manner
- Manage the cleaning and maintenance schedule as required by the Renal Health Centre
Requirements:
- Commitment to the philosophy and practice of Aboriginal Community Control
- Understanding of Aboriginal culture and willingness to create a culturally safe environment
- Current 'C' Class Driver's Licence
- National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
Benefits:
- Attractive base salary plus superannuation
- Accommodation Allowance of $7,800 per annum
- Annual airfares of $1,800 on 12 months of continuous service
