As a Business Banking Manager, you will be key to achieving Business Bank’s vision of strengthening Australian businesses. You will build and maintain strong relationships with business clients, acting as a trusted advisor. Collaborating with Senior Business Banking Managers, you will manage a portfolio of SME customers. Your duties include conducting customer needs assessments to provide business and consumer solutions - such as transactional services, business loans, and foreign exchange. You will also prepare high-quality sales proposals, ensuring strong deal quality and minimizing rework. This role is a permanent full-time position based in Brisbane, QLD. What do I need? In-depth knowledge of the needs and opportunities for small to medium business customers. Awareness of challenges, trends, and the competitive and regulatory environment. Strong ability to assess creditworthiness with a focus on risk. Proficiency in evaluating key risks, structural considerations or covenants, repayment, pricing for risk, and policy exceptions.
