Client:ASX-listed gold mining company with a multi-million-ounce resource is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team.
Opportunity:
You will be responsible for providing safe, quality, and timely preventative maintenance and repairs to fixed plant equipment with a major focus on alignment with operational and departmental targets.
Further Responsibilities include;
* Ensure all maintenance work is completed in a safe manner and in compliance with established safe work procedures, processes and systems.
* Demonstrate effective leadership and communication skills to focus the team's activities to achieve compliance to the maintenance plan.
* Actively mentor and develop your team to support personal development.
* Develop and implement strategies and provide strong people leadership to drive continuous improvement.
* Work closely with the production team to maximise plant availability through sound maintenance practices.
* Actively assist the planners in developing the weekly plan as well as shutdown and project plans.
To be considered, you must meet the following criteria:
* Australian recognised Mechanical trade qualification
* Strong gold or minerals processing fixed plant experience
* Manual WA driver's licence.
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screen and police clearance
* Strong commitment to safety and maintaining a clean, organised work area.
* Effective communication, organisation and leadership skills.
* Experience using Pronto.
* Experience maintaining Mills, Crushers and CIL plants
* Willingness to work in a hands-on collaborative environment
* Strong commitment to promoting safety.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
