**The Company**
Our client is a large healthcare provider and is currently looking to secure a permanent, full time Billing Officer. They are a leader in their market and are looking for a switched on, team player to assist with collation of documents and invoice payments.
**The role**

Reporting to the Patient Services Manager, you will become an integral part of the Finance Team. You will be responsible for maintaining all of the Billing procedures and will need to contribute to process improvements. The role will include but not be limited to:
- Reviewing all discharged and coded patient accounts to ensure completeness and appropriateness of billing in accordance with Health Fund and other contracts
- Invoicing all reviewed patient accounts for submissions to health funds and other insurers
- Ensuring all claims are up to date
- Follow up and resolve invoicing / payment differences in a timely manner
- Handle all aspects of patient account enquiries both on the phone and in person.

- Experience and knowlegde of health fund and other related contracts and the claiming process

- Knowledge of patient administration and relevant financial systems software
