The Opportunity
Developag is currently recruiting for a Pipe Layer / Machine Operator. Operating within our water and irrigation development team, you won't always be in the trenches; you will also be operating some of our modern fleet of earthmoving equipment.
Contributing directly to a diverse, ongoing water development project, enhancing both productivity and long-term land value. Key responsibilities include:
* Installation of PVC pipelines.
* Installation of poly pipelines.
* Operation of excavators, tractors, trenchers, bobcats, and tip trucks.
* Skillful excavation and backfilling operations.
* Installation of Irrigation valve assemblies.
* Repairs to poly pipe (Electrofusion).
About You
Ideally, you'll come from a background in irrigation, water development, pipe laying or plumbing. You'll bring a well-rounded skill set in operating machinery, installation and maintenance of pipeline systems, and work collaboratively with a team environment. Proactive and solutions-focused, you will see every challenge as an opportunity to learn and improve.
You will take safety seriously and work independently when required and consistently strive for excellence. You will bring with you the following essential skills and experience:
* Electrofusion welding ticket or equivalent
* HR or HC Truck Licence (or willingness to obtain)
* Construction Induction (White Card)
* PVC pipeline installation experience
* Poly pipeline installation experience
* Familiarity with Irrigation industry / Agricultural operations
* Experienced in operation of Agricultural and Earthmoving plant and equipment

DevelopAg is offering a full-time position, with attractive above award wages available. This will be negotiable based on experience, attitude and level of responsibility.
Meals and Accommodation supplied on site, with DIDO or FIFO options available, 2 and 1 roster.
