The Brisbane Entertainment Centre is seeking an experienced and proactive Presentation Services Coordinator to lead our Presentation Services team. This is a key role responsible for ensuring our venue remains clean, safe and impeccably presented for every event, client and guest.
As the Presentation Services Coordinator, you will oversee all aspects of venue cleanliness, presentation and housekeeping operations. You’ll lead a team of full-time, contract and casual staff to deliver a consistently high standard of service across all areas of the Centre.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading and coordinating the Presentation Services team, including permanent, casual and contract staff.
* Managing daily operations of the Presentation Services department.
* Supervising cleaning teams for pre-event, live-event, and post-event requirements.
* Coordinating waste management services and contributing to the venue’s Waste Management Program.
* Liaising with internal departments to ensure seamless event and venue operations.
* Maintaining stock control, equipment upkeep, and cost-effective procurement processes.
* Ensuring all staff are trained in safe work practices and comply with WH&S legislation.
* Preparing rosters, authorising timesheets, and managing administrative tasks such as purchase orders.
* Upholding venue policies relating to fire safety, hygiene and emergency procedures.
* Maintaining accurate daily logs, reporting maintenance issues and escalating safety concerns.
* Acting as an ambassador for Legends Global, modelling professionalism, integrity and exceptional customer service.
This role is central to maintaining a safe, welcoming and high performing environment for staff, clients, and visitors. Your leadership will directly influence the quality of our venue presentation and the success of our events.

You will bring:
* Experience in cleaning operations, venue presentation, or facilities services.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, train and motivate staff.
* A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.
* Sound knowledge of Work Health & Safety requirements and safe work practices.
* Confidence in managing stock, equipment, and procurement processes.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
* Reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
* The ability to identify risks, report incidents, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the initiative to solve problems before they escalate.
Qualifications & Licences:
* Paid employment Working with Children Blue Card – essential.
* Certificate II in Cleaning – desirable.
* Certificate III in Cleaning Operations – desirable.

ABOUT THE VENUE
Built by the Brisbane City Council as a world class multipurpose facility, the Brisbane Entertainment Centre formed part of Brisbane's bid for the 1992 Olympic Games. The Centre has been operated since its inception by Legends Global (formerly ASM Global and AEG Ogden Brisbane Pty Ltd). Ownership was transferred to Stadiums Queensland (formerly Major Sports Facilities Authority) from 1 July 2002.
The Brisbane Entertainment Centre has hosted a diverse range of events including Monster Trucks, Supercross, Circuses, Bull Riding, Concerts, Conventions, School Speech Nights, Ice Spectaculars, Wrestling and Boxing.
Primarily recognised as a venue to host concerts, family shows and sporting events, the Brisbane Entertainment Centre also specialises in staging corporate events in particular conferences, seminars, product launches and gala banquets.
