Integral to the role is the ability to lead a team and liaise with clients and interpret a design brief into a site sensitive energy efficient design.

* Lead, mentor and develop the Design Team, prioritising workloads, schedules and deadlines to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, managing the pre-construction process to align to brief, scope and project timelines.
* Coordinate tasks across multiple projects, ensuring smooth client progression, clear communication, and timely resolution of plan changes and alterations during pre-construction.
* Conduct site visits as required, completing site measures, investigations and reporting on site needs, and translating the client brief into home designs.
* Produce and manage architectural design and documentation in ArchiCAD, supporting both your own projects and assisting the team to progress work as needed.
* Provide expert preliminary design guidance to optimise energy efficiency, overall sustainability and project performance, aligned to Ecoliv's values and targets.
* Assess and interpret required design inputs and compliance documentation (soil reports, BAL assessments, land surveys, energy ratings), coordinating building permit applications and supporting scheduling with Construction.
* Collaborate with Construction/Estimating to support contract administration, meet project targets with monthly progress reporting, drive continuous improvement and product innovation (including new range development)
* Review materials for environmental/ethical impact, and stay current on industry trends and standards while proactively adding value and enhancing Ecoliv's reputation.

* 5+ years' Residential Building Design experience
* Proficient in ArchiCAD and Microsoft Office
* Someone who takes initiative and loves problem solving
