About The Opportunity
We are seeking a temporary full-time Application Support Officer (ICT North) to join our Clinical IT Operations Team.
The successful candidate will primarily work at either Royal North Shore Hospital or John Hunter Hospital, but we offer flexible working arrangements, including remote work.
Our network comprises over 60 laboratories and around 200 collection centres across NSW, conducting more than 60 million tests annually.
Our pathologists are supported by scientists, technicians, and support staff who ensure quick and accurate sample assessment, enabling clinical teams to make informed treatment decisions.
We encourage staff involvement in research and innovation to create safer and healthier communities.
Our Forensic & Analytical Science Service provides independent analysis to the NSW criminal and coronial justice system.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage the core build for Pathology within the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
* Identify and resolve policy and process implications from LIS implementation/changes across multiple areas.
* Support Managers responsible for Requisition Data Entry and Pre-Analytical processing to maximize workflow efficiencies.
* Manage record issues such as billing and patient encounters.
How to Apply

* Experience in a pathology end-user department or understanding of diagnostic laboratory workflows related to Core build, Pre-Analytical workflow, and billing.
* Ability to analyze, investigate, and resolve issues with stakeholders and customers.
* Strong interpersonal skills with good communication, including issue resolution via phone, email, and screensharing.
* Proficiency in analyzing and presenting data using MS Excel.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Effective planning and prioritization skills, with experience meeting project milestones.
* Experience managing multiple complex issues while maintaining quality.
