Therapist Role
The role of a Therapist at our organization is crucial in providing early intervention and therapy services to support children and families in maximising their independence and participation. As a member of the team, you will play a key role in helping clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting standardized clinical assessments to determine goals and areas of need.
* Providing information, education, and support to clients and families.
* Developing functional, routine-based goals with clients and families.
* Providing evidence-based therapy interventions and resources.
* Reviewing progress and setting new priorities in collaboration with clients and families.
* Supporting inclusion and participation in community activities.
* Collaborating closely with key stakeholders and ensuring ongoing communication and support.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualifications in Psychology with current registration with AHPRA.
* Possess strong counselling skills and the ability to provide knowledge of therapeutic interventions to children, young people, and parents.
* Experience in completing risk assessments and mental health assessments is desirable.
