Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Road Maintenance & Resilience team, working on construction and maintenance projects for Transport across New South Wales.
About the Role
In this role, you will work as part of a collaborative team, undertaking various tasks including operating plant equipment such as skid steer loaders and graders, supporting efficient road infrastructure construction and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate various plant equipment under limited supervision, performing routine and complex manual tasks safely.
* Support road infrastructure construction and maintenance by operating machinery such as rollers and lime/binder spreaders.
* Undertake a range of Road Worker Grade 3 duties as needed.
Requirements
* You must have experience in civil construction operating plant and machinery or hold a Certificate III in Civil Construction or an equivalent qualification.
* You must possess a current Construction Industry White Card and a current unrestricted NSW motor vehicle driver's license.
* Beneficial to have or be able to gain within 3 months: Traffic Controller Card – Implement Traffic Control Plan and Traffic Controller Card – Prepare Work Zone.
* Having a truck license is advantageous.
