About the Role
We're looking for an experienced
Senior API Tester
who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in ensuring high-quality software delivery. You will design, execute, and manage functional API tests across complex enterprise systems as part of a cross-functional Agile team, validating integrations, verifying request/response payloads, and ensuring systems communicate effectively end-to-end.
Essential Skills and Experience
5+ years' experience in Software Testing / Quality Engineering.
Strong background in
API Testing
(REST / SOAP) with tools such as
Postman
,
SoapUI
,
ReadyAPI
, or
Swagger
.
Skilled in designing and executing
functional and integration tests
across complex systems.
ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst (or equivalent) certification.
Proficient in
OpenText ALM
for test case management and defect tracking.
Solid understanding of
Agile, Scrum, Iterative, Waterfall
, and
CI/CD (DevOps)
delivery models.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
