As a senior cost manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering cost management services to key clients. Your primary responsibilities will include pre-contract cost planning during all design stages of projects, post-contract progress claim and variation assessments, and engaging with external stakeholders to manage expectations and deliver results.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Cost Management team to deliver high-quality cost management services
* Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive cost plans for projects
* Analyze and assess progress claims and variations to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery
* Foster strong relationships with clients and contractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Requirements
* Minimum degree in construction or related field
* 5+ years of experience in cost management or estimating
* Achievement of Chartered status with AIQS or RICS or equivalent recognized body
* Business development experience, particularly in identifying opportunities with existing clients
