We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Data & Regulatory Response team as a key member accountable for designing and implementing reporting solutions to support data management and life insurance.
This is a permanent role, working from our Sydney office. In this position, you will:
* Document report specifications for new reports to be produced from the new platform following business engagement and agreement of any potential changes to existing designs
* Add value to the business by providing relevant recommendations and manage relationships with technical stakeholders
* Develop required reports in Tableau or other chosen reporting toolset
* Engage with the data platform development team to ensure reporting datamarts are aligned to requirements
* Engage with the business to understand how existing reports need to be enhanced in the future state
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
* Excellent business engagement skills, including written and oral communication
* The ability to work well within a team and manage multiple stakeholders
* Attention to detail
* Experience working in Life Insurance, ideally within data analytics/management
* Extensive experience in developing, maintaining, and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics and working knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture
* Experience in advanced analytics tools such as Alteryx
* Experience in SharePoint administration
* Experience building data assets (datamarts) to support analytical tools such as Tableau
* Advanced technical proficiency in SQL Server and SQL scripting
