About the team
In Audit & Assurance, we are specialists who empower our clients' financial position to ensure the validity and legality of their financial records. We don't just understand our clients' business and industries; we also act in an advisory role to recommend possible risk mitigation measures.
You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team on a variety of projects with some of our largest national clients. Our Canberra practice services clients across government, financial services, private enterprise, and not-for-profit sectors. Besides servicing local clients, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure across the national practice, learn new skills, and make an impact. Each day presents a new challenge, developing your skills as you work across different service lines tackling complex accounting issues. You'll gain valuable experience working with iconic clients, access Deloitte's training and development opportunities, and receive support for further study.
Enough about us, let's talk about you.
We're looking for candidates with a combination of the following:
* Bachelor or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* Studying towards or have completed a CA qualification (or equivalent)
* 1-3 years of experience in audit or a related field
* Skills including teamwork, collaboration, and relationship management
* Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
* Experience in leading and developing teams
* A dedicated work ethic and a hunger for development opportunities
* Federal Government security clearance is highly desirable
* Australian Citizenship is required
