About The Role
We are seeking an experienced
NDIS Intake & Service Navigation Lead
to manage participant onboarding, referrals, scheduling, and service coordination. Reporting to our Head of Clinical Operations & Governance, you will act as the central hub for operational workflow, ensuring participants are matched with the right clinicians efficiently and compliantly. This is a crucial role with responsibility over intake and admin functions, offering the opportunity to shape participant experience and streamline processes.
Responsibilities
* Manage all referrals, intake, and onboarding for NDIS participants.
* Interpret NDIS plans, ensuring compliance with funding, reporting, and safeguarding requirements.
* Oversee scheduling and clinician allocation to optimise capacity and reduce travel inefficiencies.
* Monitor waitlists, cancellations, and service disruptions.
* Communicate clearly with participants, families, and referrers.
* Identify high-risk referrals and escalate appropriately.
* Collaborate with clinicians and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and data accuracy.
About You
* Minimum 3+ years NDIS experience (allied health, support coordination, plan management, or similar).
* Strong practical knowledge of NDIS pricing, plans, compliance, and participant safeguarding.
* Proven intake, triage, or service coordination experience.
* Excellent communication — calm, clear, and empathetic.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise competing demands.
* Experience with CRM/scheduling systems (e.g., Splose, Cliniko, Lumary, Notion, Shiftcare, ).
* Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor junior staff in the future.
