Research and Development Tax Incentive Professional

We are seeking expressions of interest from talented professionals with Big Four experience to join our R&D Tax Incentive team as a Manager.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax consulting, specifically in the R&D Tax Incentive area. This role involves working closely with clients to identify and document eligible R&D activities, preparing detailed technical reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' R&D activities to identify eligible projects and expenditure.
* Prepare and review detailed technical reports and documentation to support R&D tax incentive claims.
* Assess and calculate eligible R&D expenditure to maximize clients' tax incentives.
* Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and ensure accurate and timely submission of claims.
* Stay up to date with changes in R&D tax legislation and guidelines to provide informed advice to clients.
* Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to maximize clients' R&D tax incentives.
* Provide training and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
* Participate in business development activities, including identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and building client relationships.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, ICT, STEM, or a scientific related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax consulting, with a focus on the R&D tax incentive.
3. Big Four experience preferable.
4. Experience in assessing and preparing R&D Tax incentive claims from a broad range of industries.
5. Strong understanding of R&D tax incentive program and relevant tax legislation.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical information.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
8. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
9. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CTA) is preferred but not required.
