About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Special Care Nursery team.
As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care to neonates from 32 weeks' gestation and premature infants born prior to 32 weeks.
You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that care aligns with our philosophy, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver evidence-based, safe, and effective care to neonates
* Assess and manage neonates' health conditions, including those requiring special care or intensive treatment
* Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
* Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients and families
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A current AHPRA registration
* A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Midwifery
* A Postgraduate Certificate in Neonatal Nursing or working towards
* A minimum of 4 years' experience in neonatal nursing or a passion for working with neonates and their families
* Competence in assessing and managing neonates' health conditions, including those requiring special care or intensive treatment
