About The Role
The Crew Member Operator plays a vital role within the Pavement Maintenance Team, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various plant equipment while supporting the Roads Construction and Maintenance Units. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying hazards and ensuring safe practises in high-risk environments.
Key Responsibilities Include
Conducting daily inspections of vehicles and equipment,
Maintaining accurate maintenance records, and performing general labouring tasks related to road and infrastructure upkeep
Assist in coordinating onsite works and provide operational insights to enhance project efficiency
This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
Current MR or higher Drivers Licence;
Current SafeWork accreditation as a Traffic Controller (TCR)
Current SafeWork accreditation to Implement Traffic Control Plans (IMP)
Relevant licences or certification of competency to operate allocated plant or with obligation to obtain within a specified time period as required
Current Safework White Card (general construction induction card) or equivalent

Other Important Information
The commencing salary for this position is up to $66K per year. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $76.5K on completion of assessment of skills and performance plus12% superannuationand Level 1 Adverse Working Conditions
We have a permanent full-time role available
This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight
This role is located at the Erina Works Depot
