About the Role Our client is seeking a highly experienced Residential Construction Manager who is hands on and has a portfolio of completed jobs in Queensland. Your project examples may include but not limited to; cottage work / large scale residential development background. Project locations are in Townsville and surrounding suburbs. Tasks and Responsibilities * Being able to work with architects and planning team to ensure designs and working drawings are practical and design efficient and fit for purpose * Must be able to develop and assist with building budgets and development approvals * Has to assist and obtain Building approvals * Scheduling of production and trades * Tender and let trade packages * Has to be able to communicate successfully with major and minor tenants * Follow WPH&S regulations Skills and Experience * This is a site-based construction management role * Previous experience the same role with a portfolio of completed projects in QLD * Strong knowledge of Queensland contract law and construction regulations * Proficiency in managing cost systems, claims, and compliance documentation * High-level negotiation and communication skills * Strong analytical and financial acumen * Adaptability and leadership under pressure. * Current C class driver's licence.
