Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a Senior or Principal Engineer to join our Substation Secondary, Protection & Automation Engineering Team in Adelaide. Working alongside fellow engineers you will be accountable for interpreting engineering scopes and producing deliverables in accordance with Client, Australian and International standards as applicable.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering is necessary.
* Over 10 years of experience working as an electrical engineer in power systems is required.
* Engineering accreditation or eligibility for accreditation as Chartered and RPEQ is essential.
* A good knowledge of HV substation design and layout including major components which comprise HV transmission and distribution networks is needed.
* Expert technical skills are required for reading and designing Substation Protection SLDs, protection logic diagrams, creation of protection configuration files, bench testing (Proof of Concept) associated IEDs etc..
