Senior Speech Pathologist
This is an excellent opportunity to work as a Senior Speech Pathologist in a supportive and welcoming environment. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant tertiary degree, membership with Speech Pathology Australia, and current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Working with Children Check. They will also possess excellent interpersonal skills, including effective communication, negotiation, leadership, conflict resolution, and teamwork skills.
The role will involve providing and contributing to the planning, development, and delivery of high-quality services to clients. This includes conducting comprehensive and specialised assessments, developing individualised plans and reports, and contributing to research and policy initiatives. The successful applicant will also be required to maintain client service records, develop high-quality relationships with referrers and stakeholders, and supervise Allied Health Assistants.
Key Requirements:
* Relevant tertiary degree or higher qualification from a recognised Tertiary Education Provider in Speech Therapy.
* Membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card).
* Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
* High level of interpersonal skills, including effective communication, negotiation, leadership, conflict resolution, and teamwork skills.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
* Postgraduate degree or higher qualification in Speech Therapy.
* Experience working with children and adults with speech, language, and communication disorders.
* Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
