The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining and developing relationships with both existing and new customers, providing technical solutions, and contributing to business growth.
Your new role
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
* Identify and develop new business opportunities.
* Understand customer requirements and offer technical solutions in hydraulics and mechanical engineering.
* Meet or exceed sales targets and business goals.
* Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations.
* Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing enquiries and resolving issues promptly.
* Provide engineering solutions and technical support to customers.
* Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical documentation.
* Advise customers on product selection, installation, and maintenance.
* Work closely with sales, engineering, technical, and workshop teams to ensure accuracy in sales proposals and specifications.
* Assist in developing sales strategies and providing market trend insights.
* Conduct quality and quantity checks for incoming stock.
What you'll need to succeed
* A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or related field), or trade qualification with experience in the local hydraulic industry.
* Knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical engineering principles.
