As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Software Developer / Technical Support professional to help us streamline operations, develop internal tools, and enhance our digital presence.
This flexible position (full-time or part-time) is ideal for a software or web developer who enjoys a diverse mix of application development, IT systems support, and SEO/digital marketing.
Your main responsibility will be to design and develop a web application or internal software solution that integrates with our Microsoft Access and SQL databases to improve workflow, quoting, and production processes.
You'll also take an active role in managing and optimising company websites, improving SEO performance, and supporting general technical systems across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain web applications linked to Access and SQL databases
* Create and automate business tools using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and MS Office automation
* Enhance workflow efficiency and data integration across departments
* Provide IT and technical support for office and factory systems
* Manage and optimise company websites for SEO and Google search visibility
* Track and report on SEO performance, analytics, and keyword results
* Collaborate with management to implement technology improvements across the business
Skills & Experience
* Demonstrated working knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and MS Office Automation is essential
* Experience in web or software development (.NET, Python, PHP, JavaScript, or similar)
* Strong understanding of SQL databases and Microsoft Access
* Knowledge or interest in SEO, Google Analytics, and digital optimisation
* Familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS platforms (advantageous)
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Background in manufacturing, construction, or production systems is desirable.
