Orontide is a leading Western Australian company providing specialist engineering, fabrication, preservation, and integrity maintenance services to the Oil & Gas, Mining, Naval Defence, Marine and Commercial Industries.
As a result of the company’s continued growth, an excellent opportunity has become available for a Senior IT Technician to continue to deliver high-quality outcomes and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Troubleshoot and resolve site-related IT, communications and network issues
· Deploy and maintain IT infrastructure including hardware, networking equipment, communications devices and remote access system
· Conduct routine inspections of IT infrastructure to ensure reliability and compliance
· Assist with physical installations (cabling, AV equipment, radio base stations, mounting equipment)
· Manage user access provisioning (Active Directory, VPN, door access systems)
· Monitor network performance and respond to alerts
· Support printers, plotters and multi-function devices
· Assist with onboarding of new users including device allocation and setup
· Monitor and manage security-flagged emails
· Contribute to scope of works (SoW) for site-based IT projects and upgrades
· Administer Microsoft 365, including SharePoint and Exchange
· Implement and maintain Conditional Access policies
· Implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies
· Document systems, changes, and procedures
· Work collaboratively with the wider internal team
To be successful for this position, you must possess the following:
· Tertiary qualification or degree
· Minimum 3 Years' Industry Experience
· Excellent communication skills and
· Reside currently in Perth
· Australian Resident
· Current valid driver’s licence
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· Professional presentation and work ethic
· Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
· Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
