Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Canberra. The Engagement & Impact Officer will coordinate and implement strategies to support university-led initiatives that enhance engagement with stakeholders and maximise societal impact. Responsibilities include managing events, cultivating community partnerships, preparing reports, and communicating effectively with diverse audiences. The officer will also contribute to raising awareness about the university's strategic goals and achievements, ensuring alignment with ANU's mission and values.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills, including writing, editing, and presenting information effectively for different audiences.
Experience in stakeholder engagement, relationship building, and community outreach strategies.
Proficiency in project management, event organisation, and coordinating collaborative initiatives.
Analytical and research skills for monitoring and reporting outcomes and evaluating impact.
Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Advanced organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Familiarity with university environments or the public sector is advantageous.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Communications, Marketing, Community Engagement, or equivalent experience.
