Trees For Life SA is dedicated to restoring and protecting bushland, farmland, and urban terrains across South Australia. Role Description
This is a casual role located in the Greater Adelaide Area for an On Ground Works Team Member. The successful applicant will play a hands-on role in conservation and revegetation projects, including planting native vegetation, managing weeds, and restoring habitats. Daily tasks will involve using tools and equipment, undertaking land care activities, and supporting the team leader. You will work collaboratively with the team to ensure the health of natural areas while maintaining adherence to safety and environmental protocols.
Qualifications
* Practical skills in planting, weed management, and habitat restoration
* Experience using tools and machinery safely and competently
* Ability to follow environmental and occupational health and safety guidelines
* Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively
* Knowledge of native South Australian flora and fauna is an advantage
* Physical fitness and capability for outdoor, hands-on work
* Experience in conservation or land management is a plus
* Full Australian driving license is highly desirable
