Seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead investment risk management across our portfolio.
About the Role:
In this pivotal position, you will collaborate closely with our General Manager Investment Risk to oversee and monitor our risk management framework as it pertains to investments and execution.
* Risk Analysis: Monitor and evaluate investment risk metrics and models, including VaR, stress testing, risk-adjusted performance, asset allocation, and identify underlying drivers of changes.
* Investment Risk Performance and Continuous Improvement: Identify potential vulnerabilities related to investment risk and provide technical advice as required; collaborate with various teams to direct risk issues to appropriate channels for investigation and resolution.
About You:
You will have extensive experience in a similar role, ideally from financial services or consulting firms. Your breadth of experience should span across investment risk analysis, quantitative modeling, coupled with a demonstrated interest in investments and markets.
* Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications – a Bachelor's degree and/or postgraduate degree (Master's or PhD) in a quantitative discipline (e.g., engineering, actuarial science, finance/economics, mathematics, statistics, physics) is required; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) will be advantageous.
