**About the Role**:
This position is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support for the professional experience units offered by the School of Education, across various contexts and availability. It delivers high-quality services to academic staff, students engaged in professional experience, as well as personnel in cooperating schools and other staff involved in the placement and coaching process. The staff member will coordinate all administrative requirements for the assigned units.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Coordinate all placement administrative requirements for assigned units, ensuring timelines are effectively managed.
- Advise schools and students of placements and make sure that all required documents have been sent out well in advance of the placement.
- Collate, check, and assist with preparation of course materials, handbooks, forms, and other documentation.
- Act as the first point of contact for students, staff, and external parties regarding professional experience placements, receiving, resolving and/or escalating queries as appropriate. Develop and maintain records utilising spreadsheets, databases, and placement software such as SONIA.
- Extract data and prepare reports as required.
- Ensure all necessary documentation and clearances are completed and that regulatory requirements are met prior to students commencing on placement.
- Collate reports from Supervisors and Mentor Teachers; track students' results; and assist with Board of Examiners.
- Arrange payments to schools, teachers, supervisors, and coaches for their participation.
- Represent the School of Education at meetings related to the SONIA placement software.
- Undertake other activities which the incumbent might reasonably be expected to do, and which are consistent with the accountabilities and responsibilities as listed above

- Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple and often competing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated written communication skills with the ability to draft a range of correspondence and documentation which is clear and concise.
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgment in the resolution of day-to-day issues arising
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as autonomously with limited direction.
- Demonstrated competence in the use of digital technologies.
**Role Requirements**:
As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered.
