About the Role We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Director of People & Culture to lead and embed best-practice people, culture and leadership initiatives across the organisation. This is a senior, strategic role with a strong operational focus, ideal for a leader who is passionate about developing capable, resilient leaders and building a high performing, engaged workforce. The highest priority of this role is the delivery and facilitation of leadership capability and resilience development for the organisation, ensuring we are well-equipped to lead people, manage change, and foster positive workplace culture. This is a permanent position with applications considered ranging from 0.6 to Full Time hours. Key Responsibilities 1 - Leadership, Culture & Capability Design, deliver and/or facilitate leadership and resilience development programs Lead culture and organisational transformation initiatives aligned to organisational values and strategic objectives Drive employee engagement strategies that support wellbeing, performance and retention Coach and support leaders to build effective, inclusive and psychologically safe teams 2 - People & Culture Strategy Lead, coordinate and deliver best-practice people and culture programs and initiatives Provide expert advice on workforce planning, organisational development and change management Build strong, constructive relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners 3 - Human Resources & Employee Relations Oversee and support day-to-day HR functions, including: Recruitment and selection Employment contracts and processes Onboarding and offboarding Performance appraisal and performance management HR reporting and compliance Provide high-quality advice and support on complex employee relations matters Manage injury management and Return to Work (RTW) practices, including Workcover matters 4 - Governance, Compliance & Systems Ensure practical application of: Fair Work Act & National Employment Standards (NES) Enterprise Agreements and industrial instruments Ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements relevant to the role Utilise HR systems and technology effectively to support efficient service delivery About You You are a trusted HR and people leader with demonstrated experience in both strategic leadership and hands-on delivery. You bring credibility, emotional intelligence and a strong coaching mindset.
