About The Role
Play a key role in delivering renewable energy projects by leading community and stakeholder engagement across Development and Operations projects in Victoria.
This role supports project approvals and builds strong and long-lasting community relationships by:
* Leading community and stakeholder engagement for project approvals (EES, DA, SIA)
* Developing and delivering engagement plans and community benefit programs
* Managing stakeholder risk, including complex or sensitive issues
* Building relationships with landowners, communities and government
* Delivering communications, consultation activities and community events
* Designing and implementing community benefit initiatives that support social licence and long-term regional outcomes
* Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams that support projects through entire life cycles
About You
To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced engagement professional who thrives in complex project environments and can build trusted relationships. You will have a passion for renewables and an inbuilt ability to connect with people and communities.
Your experience will include:-
* Proven experience in community or stakeholder engagement with success gained from your time in infrastructure or energy, or on other relevant large-scale projects
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Sound knowledge of planning and environmental processes within Victoria
* Highly organised with attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
* Qualification in communication, public relations/participation or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
* Driver’s licence and flexibility to travel to regional areas (dependent upon your home location, this role can be based in our Melbourne office or from your home in regional Victoria).
