The opportunity
With a focus on maximising the efficiency and utilisation of both vehicles and drivers, you will manage scheduled services and on-demand pickups.
Reporting to an experienced Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for dispatching drivers and appropriate vehicles—including subcontractors—to meet service demands.
You'll also manage real‑time changes, resolve delays, communicate updates to customers, and function as the first point of contact for any incidents, hazards, or near‑miss events, assisting with the completion of relevant reports.
Selection criteria
* Proven experience within a fast paced / high volume Dispatch / Scheduling role
* Understanding of Brisbane suburbs and surrounding areas
* Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience in operating transport dispatch programs advantageous
* Computer literate – MS Office Suite
* Proven problem solving, conflict resolution and time management experience
* Customer focused approach
* Ability to work shifts and weekends as they operate 7 days per week
